NFPA 42, Code for the Storage of Pyroxylin Plastic, 2002 edition

NFPA 42 provides requirements for the storage of pyroxylin plastic in storage buildings and at manufacturing plants. This code does not cover cellulose nitrate flat or motion picture film. Pyroxylin plastic is any plastic substance, material, or compound, other than cellulose nitrate film, that has soluble cotton or similar cellulose nitrate as a base when in the form of blocks, slabs, sheets, tubes, or fabricated shapes. Pyoxylin plastic is not commonly manufactured or stored. (Approx. 15 pp., 2002)
